Job Description :

We are hiring a Quality Engineer for the Paint Shop in our automotive/manufacturing unit in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have experience in paint quality control, defect detection, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect painted surfaces for quality issues (runs, orange peel, overspray, etc.)

• Coordinate with production and paint teams to solve quality problems

• Conduct audits and follow quality standards (ISO/TS)

• Analyze defects and perform root cause analysis

• Maintain daily quality check records and reports

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.E in Mechanical, Automobile, or Chemical Engineering

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Paint Shop Quality

• Good knowledge of painting process and quality systems

• Ability to identify and correct paint-related defects

• Basic computer skills for reporting
