Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Lean Target Setting and Monitoring:

   - Set and monitor lean targets for inventory management, space utilization, quality improvement, productivity enhancement, and lead time reduction within the manufacturing site.

   - Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Waste Elimination:

   - Identify and systematically eliminate waste in the manufacturing process to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

   - Employ lean methodologies, such as 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping, to enhance operational workflows.

3. Operational and Machine Balance Strategies:

   - Implement operation and machine balance strategies, organizing all production tasks around human motion to create an efficient and safe production sequence.

   - Prioritize safety, quality, and productivity in all operational planning and execution.

4. Material Handling Management:

   - Manage the procurement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance.

   - Establish an autonomous material handling system to optimize material flow and reduce bottlenecks in production processes.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations and alignment of objectives.

   - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.

6. Training and Development:

   - Lead training programs to educate staff on lean principles, safety practices, and efficient operational processes.

   - Support team members in developing skills necessary for effective execution of lean initiatives.

7. Compliance and Safety Standards:

   - Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards within the manufacturing environment.

   - Promote a culture of safety and proactive risk management among all team members.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in manufacturing operations management or a related role.

- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams to achieve operational goals.

- Familiarity with material handling equipment and supply chain management is a plus.
