Production Engineer Turning Processes into Results
Job Description:
The manufacturing facility's "Operations Strategist" and "Efficiency Conductor" are the production engineers. Designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes to maximize output while minimizing waste is your main goal. As the "Bridge between Design and Execution," you turn engineering drawings into large-scale, tangible goods. The ideal applicant is a metrics-driven professional with a "Continuous Improvement" mindset who can oversee shop floor personnel, solve equipment bottlenecks, and guarantee that production goals are fulfilled on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Key Duties:
Process Optimization: To cut waste, shorten cycle times, and boost throughput, analyze and improve production workflows using Lean production and Six Sigma techniques.
Production Planning & Execution: Keep an eye on daily activities to make sure resources are distributed effectively and manufacturing schedules are fulfilled.
Capacity & Resource Management: To increase the effectiveness of assembly lines and machine centers, do time-motion studies and line balancing exercises.
Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Work with maintenance teams to put long-term corrective measures in place by looking at equipment malfunctions, process variations, or production delays.
New Product Introduction: Collaborate with the R&D and design teams to ensure a seamless transition from prototype to full-scale mass production.
Quality Assurance Alignment: Reduce the amount of scrap and rework by making sure all shop floor operations follow SOPs and quality requirements.
