When designing enclosures and taking form factor into account, work with mechanical engineers.

Determine the underlying reasons for failures, examine test data, and make necessary design changes.

Integrate hardware and software, debug embedded code, and optimise it.

Keep thorough project documents and ensure that designs are version controlled.

Contribute to design reviews by offering helpful criticism.
