Job Description

Primary Task: To ensure optimal performance, minimise downtime, and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction in our manufacturing operations in Chennai by offering professional technical support, installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown repair services for industrial machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

Make that recently installed equipment runs as efficiently as possible by conducting comprehensive functional tests and performance evaluations.

Maintain accuracy and performance standards by calibrating instruments and equipment.

Investigate the underlying causes of recurrent malfunctions and put long-lasting repair measures in place.

Gather client input and share it with the appropriate internal teams to enhance the product or service.

Keep thorough inventories of spare parts, technical manuals, and equipment history records.

Required Abilities:

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Familiarity with industry-specific safety standards.
