Junior Engineer Mechanical (Maintenance)

Job description:

Responsible for carrying out day-to-day maintenance activities related to equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure. The role involves executing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting smooth and uninterrupted operations.
Role & responsibilities

1.Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

 * Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
 * Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs. 
* Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks as per the schedule. 
*  Assist in maintaining equipment uptime by minimizing unplanned downtime.

2.Preventive Maintenance

* Execute preventive maintenance tasks as per the approved schedule. 

* Maintain accurate records of PM activities and report any abnormalities. 

* Support to reduce reactive maintenance by identifying early signs of wear or failure.

3. Facility Maintenance:

 Report and address any facility-related maintenance or safety issues. 
 Assist in maintaining cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the workplace. 
Conduct regular inspections of the facilitys infrastructure(lighting, plumbing, etc.).

4 Compliance & Safety

Follow all safety protocols appropriately during work.. 
Report safety hazards or violations immediately to the supervisor.
