Focus: A strategic and results-driven leader in charge of managing the entire procurement process, guaranteeing the prompt and economical acquisition of consumables, equipment, tools, services, and raw materials (polymers) essential to injection moulding operations. In a dynamic Chennai manufacturing environment, this position places a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing, vendor development, supply chain optimisation, cost reduction, and compliance.

Experience: 10 to 12 yrs

What you will Do:

To get the best deal for the business, lead discussions with suppliers regarding terms, prices, delivery dates, and quality agreements.

Effectively and quickly handle and resolve supplier-related concerns.

Examine spending trends to find areas where cost and process efficiency might be improved.

Estimate future purchases based on market trends, production schedules, and sales projections.

Make sure that all contracts, supplier agreements, and purchase orders are properly documented.

What you need:

Strong analytical skills for spend analysis, cost modeling, and forecasting.

Expertise in using ERP/MRP systems for procurement.

Understanding of quality management systems
