Job Description
The manufacturing company's "Customer Satisfaction Specialist" and "Field Problem Solver" are the service engineers. Providing professional technical support, installation, and repair services for industrial machinery at client locations is your main goal. As the "Technical Face" of the business, you make sure that the equipment offered operates as efficiently as possible and that client downtime is kept to a minimum. A highly mobile, hands-on engineer who can independently diagnose complicated mechanical and electrical problems while preserving strong professional connections with clients is the ideal applicant.
Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning: Before turning over new equipment to the customer, supervise its on-site setup, leveling, and integration to make sure it satisfies all performance standards.
On-Site Troubleshooting: Identify and fix electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues in a variety of industrial machinery.
Preventive maintenance involves carrying out planned service agreements to guarantee that equipment runs as efficiently as possible and to spot possible issues before they arise.
Customer Training: Teach the customer's operators and maintenance personnel how to operate the equipment safely and effectively.
Warranty Management: Assess warranty claims on-site and send thorough technical reports to the home office in order to identify the underlying causes of malfunctions.
Recommendations for Spare components: To guarantee prompt repairs and create aftermarket income, identify and suggest the spare components that consumers need.
Skills:
Technical Versatility: Excellent knowledge of electrical systems (PLC, drives, and sensors) and mechanical systems (hydraulics and pneumatics).
Diagnostic expertise is the skillful application of dial gauges, multimeters, and specialist diagnostic software to determine underlying issues.
Problem-Solving: The capacity to think quickly and identify technical solutions in stressful "Machine Down" scenarios.
Communication: Outstanding interpersonal abilities to professionally resolve disagreements and explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
Adaptability: The ability to work in a variety of industrial settings and travel frequently, frequently on short notice.
