The legal percentage for the state of Georgia is 32%. The percentage of tint is measured in the amount of light which is permitted into the vehicle, therefore 50% would be an extremely light colored film and 05% would be the darkest available. It is always best to have a professional remove your old film before getting your car re-tinted.
