KETTLE - before it is popped - sprays on PROTEIN because Kernels are coated in Sunflower Oil. Omega 3 and 6. When Kernel pops - the popcorn itself is coated with that oil. When the flavor goes on it binds to the Popcorn. And this is why the Protein can be bound to the Popcorn.
