Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Wooden Boat Restoration professional to join our team. As a Wooden Boat Restorer, you will be responsible for restoring and preserving wooden boats to their original beauty. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

- Assess the condition of wooden boats and develop restoration plans

- Strip, sand, and refinish wooden surfaces

- Repair or replace damaged wood components

- Apply coatings, varnishes, and sealants to protect the wood

- Install hardware and fittings as needed

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- EXPERIENCE PREFERED BUT WILL TRAIN RIGHT CANDIDATE

- Experience in wooden boat restoration or similar field preferred but not required. 

- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools

- Familiarity with different types of wood and their characteristics

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions

- Excellent problem-solving skills
