Job Position: Shop Helper
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM; Rotating weekends—Saturday 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM and Sunday 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Location: Broken Arrow, OK 74014

Position Overview

We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper for a night shift role in Broken Arrow. This position involves supporting shop operations, assisting skilled trades, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, to finish metal components
• Use tape measures to ensure accurate material cuts and assemblies
• Safely operate overhead cranes to move heavy equipment and materials
• Assist welders, fabricators, and machinists with daily shop tasks
• Load and unload materials and products as needed
• Perform basic tool maintenance and shop organization
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Skills & Experience Requirements

• Experience with grinders, tape measures, and overhead cranes is required
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or shop drawings is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willing to learn and take direction from supervisors
