Whether for composting or fishing the African Night Crawler is quickly becoming the most sought after worm in the world... African Night Crawlers are a tropical worm and need to be kept in the 70's (temperature)... When full grown there is approximately 300/lb. can be the best fish bait... Slow down when temps reach the 50's...
Night Crawlers may lose some weight in shipping because they are shipped in mostly dry bedding, not allowing temperature distress… Remove the worms from the bag they are shipped in and transfer them into a new container with fresh bedding… They will gain their weight back in 2 - 5 days... The worms are shipped in enough bedding for shipping, not enough to live in…
Note: If unable to guarantee live delivery, shipment may be delayed due to extreme weather conditions...
Also Note: we ship our worms bed run. There will be an even mix of mature and non-mature worms. We can not guarantee all bait size worms upon delivery. Within 8 weeks, all worms will be mature… Reproduction rates will change with the weather, moisture & food waste content… Worms will thrive on anything organic decomposing… No teeth, --- they vacuum their way thru, --- while leaving castings, “Nature’s Organic Fertilizer”… We ship to the (48) Continental United States...
SPECIES DISCLAIMER
It is not possible to guarantee 100% pure worm species with any type of composting worm. It is always possible for occasional roamers that leave there growing tray and get into another species tray. There is always a chance of receiving a few “other” species in your order. These “other” species are also great composters. But it does happen in the worm industry occasionally even when taking many precautions..
Shipped orders, must be placed by Saturday at 12:00 Noon, --- to make Monday Shipping...
