Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Medical Coder to join our growing team. As a Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for medical services by accurately coding patient medical records.

Requirements:

Give diagnoses, treatments, and services listed in patient medical records the correct ICD-10-CM and CPT codes.

Examine lab findings, diagnostic pictures, doctor's notes, and other pertinent records.

Make sure that coded data is sent on time and accurately for billing and reimbursement purposes.

Through professional development and ongoing education, stay current on industry best practices, regulatory developments, and the most recent coding requirements.

Skills:

thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

comprehensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10-CM coding standards and how to use them.

proficiency with reference materials and code manuals.

meticulous correctness and attention to detail in all coding tasks.
