Be a Charge Entry Executive in a Rising Sector

Job Description

Primary Task: In order to reduce claim denials and maximise the revenue cycle for healthcare providers from our Chennai operations, we must precisely and quickly enter all patient charges for medical services and procedures into the medical billing system while maintaining tight adherence to coding guidelines, payer regulations, and company standards.

Responsibilities

To prove medical necessity, make sure each procedure is associated with the appropriate relevant diagnosis codes (ICD-10).

Reduce the possibility of initial claim rejections by using internal claim scrubbing tools or processes to find and fix mistakes before to submission.

Verify that all charge entry procedures adhere to legal requirements as well as those of third-party payers.

Effectively navigate and use a variety of EHR systems, medical billing software, and associated platforms for data management and charge entry.

Keep thorough and precise records of all charges entered, along with any problems that may arise.

Required Abilities:

Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

Good computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new software applications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and correct discrepancies.
