Job Description

The Charge Entry Executive will accurately and efficiently enter patient demographic and charge information into medical billing systems. This role ensures accurate claim submission and contributes to the revenue cycle management process.

Responsibilities

Enter insurance details and patient demographics into the billing system accurately.

Using the documentation that has been supplied, post costs for medical services and procedures.

Check and use the correct ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

To guarantee proper charge capture, examine and evaluate medical records.

Find and fix any mistakes or inconsistencies in the charge entry.

Skills:

strong familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding, and medical terminology.

proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing applications.

Outstanding typing and data entry abilities with a high level of precision.

a keen eye for detail and the capacity to evaluate medical records.

Educational Qualification: Any Basic Degree

Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
