The accurate entry and validation of patient demographic and insurance data into our medical billing system will be your responsibility. The first stage of the medical billing cycle, this vital position has a direct impact on claim accuracy and denial prevention, greatly assisting our clients in managing their revenue cycle. The ideal applicant will possess a strong grasp of medical language, a sharp eye for detail, exceptional data entry abilities, and an appreciation of the significance of precise data in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify that every field is filled out accurately and that it follows the guidelines and formats specified.

Enter the policy number, group number, effective dates, subscriber information, and primary and secondary insurance providers.

Do cross-checks and self-audits to make sure all entered data is as accurate as possible.

When entering data, note any difficulties or odd situations that arise and report them as necessary.

Respect patient privacy at all times and strictly abide by all HIPAA rules.

What you Need:

Basic computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).

Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload.

Strong commitment to data privacy and confidentiality.
