Job Description

Responsibilities:

To find out the status of medical claims that have been denied, underpaid, or unpaid, start making outbound calls to US insurance providers.

Report complicated or ongoing problems to the relevant internal teams in accordance with established procedures.

Make thorough notes of all discussions you have with patients and payers.

Observe all payer policies, medical billing laws, and client-specific procedures.

Keep abreast of changes to payer policies, developments in the medical billing sector, and coding standards that affect AR follow-up.

Skills:

tenacious, resilient, and capable of managing difficult discussions in a professional manner.
