Responsibilities

Examine underpaid and denied claims to determine the underlying reason for rejections.

Examine unpaid or partially paid claims to determine the cause of any inconsistencies or nonpayment.

Make sure that payments and adjustments are posted accurately by reconciling patient accounts.

Create and examine AR reports to find patterns in payments, ageing claims, and denials.

Keep abreast with modifications to medical billing procedures, coding standards, and insurance laws.

Verify that all AR operations adhere to payer criteria, business policy, and HIPAA regulations.

Skills
Proficiency in using medical billing software, practice management systems, and CRM tools.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
