Responsibilities

Enter information from many source documents about your insurance policy, such as the payer's name, policy number, group number, effective dates, and eligibility details.

Report information that is illegible or incomplete and forward it to the relevant team for clarification.

Make that the doctor and location are chosen correctly based on the documentation that has been supplied.

Take part in quality assessments and put suggestions into practice to increase the precision and effectiveness of data entry.

As needed, create simple reports on the volumes and accuracy of daily data entry.

Skills
Good organizational and time-management skills to meet daily targets.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Understanding of HIPAA compliance.
