Job Description

Primary Task: To ensure data integrity, support the revenue cycle process, minimise claim denials for healthcare providers, and accurately and efficiently enter patient demographic and insurance information into medical billing systems while upholding stringent confidentiality and data security protocols within our Chennai operations.

Responsibilities

Enter patient demographic information accurately into the medical billing software from a variety of source documents.

Verify and compare insurance details with the documents that have been provided in order to avoid mistakes that could result in claims being denied.

Find and mark any inconsistencies, blank spaces, or dubious data in patient records.

Make ensuring that documents are properly indexed and archived in accordance with business standards and any Indian healthcare regulations.

Learn how to use the particular capabilities of the billing system that our Chennai facility uses.

Recognise and abide by the protocols for safe data access and transmission.

Required Abilities:

Basic understanding of the medical billing cycle and its components.

Familiarity with medical terminology and common abbreviations is a significant advantage.

Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for basic data organization.
