Job Description

Responsibilities

Conduct audits of medical records, charge entries, and claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS), payer regulations, and internal policies.

Prepare reports on audit findings, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommendations for corrective action.

Provide feedback and training to billing and coding staff on identified areas for improvement.

Stay updated on changes to coding guidelines, payer regulations, and industry best practices.
