SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a CT Technologist for its client in Columbus, OH. The person will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your role will involve preparing patients for procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients correctly for optimal imaging results.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during or after procedures.
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, ensuring diagnostic clarity.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and procedures.
• Educate patients about the imaging process and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
• Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Ohio.
• Previous experience working as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
