In order to support our vital business applications and data projects, you will be in charge of planning, creating, maintaining, and optimising reliable and effective SQL databases and solutions. Strong SQL skills, a thorough comprehension of database design principles, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a dedication to maintaining data security, performance, and integrity are all requirements for the perfect applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable relational database schemas, tables, views, and other database objects based on business requirements.

SQL Querying & Scripting: Write complex, optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for data retrieval, manipulation, and business logic implementation.

Performance Optimization: Analyze existing SQL queries and database structures to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, applying techniques like indexing, query tuning, and schema modifications.

Data Integrity & Security: Ensure data integrity and consistency across databases. Implement and maintain database security measures, access controls, and data encryption where necessary.

ETL Processes: Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into target databases or data warehouses.

What you Need:

Experience with ETL processes and tools.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.

Educational Qualification: Any Degree related to IT
