Job Description

Primary Task: Manage and resolve outstanding accounts receivable (AR) for medical billing, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement.

Responsibilities

Analyze aging reports and identify trends in unpaid claims.

Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims through communication with insurance companies.

Follow up on outstanding claims via phone, email, and online portals.

Document all collection activities and communication in the billing system.

Identify and escalate recurring billing issues to management.

Required Abilities:

Strong understanding of medical billing and coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).

Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
