Location : Chennai

Working Hours : General Shift | Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Examine medical claims thoroughly for errors in costs, coding, and documentation.

Find and mark any mistakes, inconsistencies, or information gaps.

Examine claims data to find patterns, trends, and places where claim processing could be improved.

Write reports on claim rejections and denials, pointing out the underlying reasons and suggesting solutions.

Give developers and billers input on mistakes found and areas that need work.

Skills:

strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes as well as medical billing and coding principles.

knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and other data analysis programs.

knowing the applicable laws and requirements for compliance, including as HIPAA and ICD-10-CM criteria.
