What you’ll Do:
Following established protocols pertinent to our Chennai operations, accurately post payments from a variety of sources (insurance companies, patients, electronic transfers) into the appropriate billing or accounting systems.
Adjustments, reimbursements, and transfers should be prepared and processed as needed, with the appropriate paperwork and approvals obtained in accordance with Chennai corporate policy.
Use a variety of software programs and tools to efficiently complete tasks related to payment posting and reconciliation in our Chennai environment.
Observe company rules and any local data protection laws in Chennai to ensure the security and confidentiality of financial information.
Keep yourself informed about modifications to payer policies, payment rules, and pertinent industry standards in the Indian context.
What you need:
fundamental knowledge of billing or accounting that is pertinent to the Chennai industry.
Strong time-management and organising abilities to efficiently manage a large number of payment transactions at our Chennai office.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and any pertinent accounting or billing software used in Chennai.
