Administrative Assistant - Akron, OH - JOB 24-00418

Salary Range: $15.00 - $20.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Locally owned and operated business consulting firm is looking to hire a professional Administrative Assistant.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years' minimum experience as an Administrative Assistant
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Must be able to work independently and self-manage workload.
• Must have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to work with a variety of people including various departments and facilities, vendors, contractors, managers, etc.
• Must be able to work 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Duties:

• Perform a variety of secretarial duties, direct incoming telephone calls, answer door and greet visitors.
• Enter orders.
• Handle Shipping and invoicing
• Open, sort mail and mail run within the office.
• Run picking tickets.
• Emailing acknowledgements
• Run purchase order listing.
• Filing, prepare mail and invoices and bookings report.
• Shipping and invoicing
• Data entry
• Prepare domestic/international shipping documents/pick-ups.
• Various administrative duties

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
