We are hiring…

The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring an excellent experience for their guests by coordinating the team to exceed expectations on every visit. The supervisor leads the team in caring for guests first before anything else, delighting them with friendly and caring service that creates loyalty to the restaurant. The supervisor also ensures the team contributes to achieving A & W operating standards for the restaurant.

Job Position: Food Service Supervisor

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Working Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Term: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Delight guests with friendly and caring customer service representative of the A&W brand.
• Work as a team to deliver outstanding guest experience.
• Monitor inventory and ensure all food supplies and other restaurant essential are adequately stocked.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain sanitation, health, orderly and clean eating and dining areas, as well as other facilities utilized by guests.
• Coordinate and supervise food preparation and service activities.
• Train and schedule staff members to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet A&W standards.
• Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school
• Previous experience within the food service industry
• Excellent guest service 
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Excellent leadership skills
• Able to engage in repetitive tasks 
• Able to stand for an extended period of time(up to 8 hours)
