Job Requirements

Job Duties

- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
- Estimate food requirements and costs
- Maintain inventory and records of ingredients, supplies and equipment
- Order ingredients, supplies and equipment as needed
- Train and supervise other staff and helpers in the kitchen
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
