Sushi Yama in Chilliwack is looking for competent Cooks to join our team.

Number of Positions: 2

Hourly Wage: C$16.75 ~ 17.50 (depending on experience)

Work Hours: 30.00 ~ 40.00 hours per week

Vacation: 10 business days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Work Location: Chilliwack, BC

Main Job Duties:       

-     Prepare and make Japanese dishes from our menu

• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Ensure standards of food safety and sanitation are adhered
• Train and supervise kitchen helpers
• Maintain work areas clean

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of commercial cooking experience is required.

Completion of secondary school is required.
