Structural Project Engineer - Akron, OH - Job 24-00098

Salary Range: $65k - $120k Permanent Position with Benefits.

Ohio based company is seeking to hire a Structural Engineer for design and field customer interaction and site inspections. (BSCE / P.E preferred), Remote work from your home office or Akron or Columbus, Ohio business locations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree Civil Structural, (BSCE,)
• Remote work from your home office, (near our Akron or Columbus, Ohio locations is preferable)
• Entry level engineers will be considered, BSME or related engineering field may be considered
• 0 to 15 years' experience as a structural engineer for facilities (Professional Engineering license is a strong plus)
• Knowledge of construction industry & structural steel concepts and design
• Calculation knowledge with Aluminum, Glass, Flat Sheet, Structural support…
• Forward thinker for unique and alternative structural system design of building envelopes, facades, curtain walls and cladding
• Up to 25% local and domestic travel (~1wk/mo.) for client consulting, support, field inspections, and photo documentation (typically: Ohio, Boston MA, Connecticut, and Philadelphia PA)
• Exceptional people communication skills for customer interaction, strong verbal & written consultant skills
• CAD proficiency AutoCADD / Autodesk
