Estimator / Project Manager - Time, Material & Labor - Cleveland, OH - JOB 24-00203

Salary Range: $90K - $115K Permanent Position with Benefits.

A construction company is seeking to hire an Estimator / Project Manager for their newest location.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
  • Must be able to collate submittal data, review shop drawings, mix designs, and all other necessary documents so that the project can begin and function properly.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Travel to visit job sites is a requirement.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be responsible for the following;
  • Identifying time, material & labor. Evaluate bid opportunities.
  • Determine cost factors. Prepare Estimates. Coordinate with staff in the field.
  • Be responsible for coordinating the bid process and post bid analysis.
  • Calculate and analyze costs. Prepare plans and estimates.
  • Prepare contract agreements.
  • Interact with vendors, clients and others to develop estimates and resolve issues.
  • Be responsible for coordinating project hand off.
  • Correspond project process. Prepare accurate trend reports and monthly projections
  • Notify subcontractors and suppliers of anticipated start and delivery needs.
  • Schedule Pre-job meeting and progress meetings both internally and with owner.
  • Check job quantities, approve invoices, subcontractor payments, prepare extra work change orders and monitor job cost.
  • Review, tabulate, and negotiate final quantity agreements with owner and/or Prime contractor to ensure 100% payment for all work performed.
