Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
1st Shift & 2nd Shift

A leading manufacturing firm on Cleveland's east side to recruit several highly skilled Toolmaker for 1st and 2nd shift. This critical role supports tool room machining activities essential for the production of high-precision components

Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Machining: Execute complex setups and operations on CNC lathes, mills, and Swiss turning equipment.
• Tooling & Fixtures: Design and manufacture custom fixtures to support production efficiency.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret intricate blueprints and technical specifications using a deep understanding of GD & T.
• Prototyping: Work directly from sketches or minimal information to create functional parts and tools.
• Quality Control: Utilize advanced inspection protocols, including manual measuring equipment and optical comparators, to ensure 100% part accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience manufacturing complex parts in a professional machine shop environment.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; formal Machinist Training or Apprenticeship preferred.
• CNC Expertise: Proven ability to program, set up, and operate CNC machinery.
• Experience with 4 and 5-axis programming is a significant plus.
• Manual Proficiency: Hands-on experience with manual lathes is required.
• Technical Skills: * Advanced mathematical proficiency.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Flexibility: Availability for overtime as production needs dictate.
