Product Development Engineer (Tires) - Akron/Canton, OH - JOB 25-01233

Salary: $100K - $125K Permanent Position with Benefits

Job Purpose: To manage and engineer the product development of passenger car radial (PCR) / light truck radial (LTR) tires for vehicle original equipment (OE) applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure the development of efficient tires in a timely manner
• Perform mold design using company guidelines and simulation tools
• Engineer and analyze design features, manufacturing, and characteristics
• Oversee required testing and data analysis
• Conduct design reviews and reports
• Oversee project budget management
• Provide analysis and support for technical issues
• Regularly communicate with written reports and presentations
• Travel domestically and internationally as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or related engineering field
• Preferred greater than 5 years of experience in OE tire development.
• Relevant full-time experience in tire or automotive industry
• Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft 365 or similar office document tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in local and international teams
