The problem:

The earnestness of fire reaction can't be undervalued, as each moment holds importance. The escalating impact of climate change on wildfires, characterized by extended fire seasons, drier fuels, and swifter winds, has resulted in faster spreading of new ignitions, thereby endangering numerous communities. Currently, the majority of wildfires are identified by bystanders and quickly reported via the emergency hotline, 911, which means it can take hours to identify a fire, determine its exact location and size, and dispatch first responders. Fire authorities requires for a more efficient method to identify, verify, and locate fires promptly to enable a swift response, thereby averting minor blazes from escalating into catastrophic conflagrations.

The Role:

Our Company is searching for a Senior Supply Planning Analyst to lead the Supply Planning portion of our S&OP process to support our customers in the United States, Australia, and Europe. You will have outstanding analytical skills when making changes, motivated and able to work in a busy work environment. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will create a reliable Supply Plan for our company for a more effective method to quickly detect, analyze and locate the fire to quickly extinguish it, preventing small fires from becoming a serious disturbance.

Responsibilities:

  • This position will ensure the overall delivery of sites to the customer is properly forecasted and execution plans are correctly aligned across North America, Australia, and Europe.
  • Partner with internal organizations, including commercial team, financial team, project management, and operations, to align on key business deliverables.
  • Lead the Supply Planning portion of the S&OP process.
  • Ensure gaps in the supply plan are addressed, and issues appropriately escalated.
  • Provide recommendations for the best use of limited materials and prevent potential schedule interruptions.
  • Analyze inventory and forecasting performance and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Support the introduction of new products and product discontinuation.
  • Communicate supply position to the business and perform “what if” analysis as required.
  • Maintain planning system and master data integrity, as well as keep assigned documentation updated following all departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Contribute to business process definition and documentation and generally support Operations performance improvement.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (0 to 10% at times).
  • Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors, including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for stock options.
