Baker

Job duties include:

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frosting according to recipes or special customer orders
• Bake mixed dough and batters
• Prepare special orders
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
• Draw up production schedules
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas
• Operate machinery
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
• Train staff, schedule staff
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Oversee sales and merchandising of bakes goods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

       Must be familiar with these food/baking specialties

1. Mexican Pastries/ Breads
2. Breads, rolls, Desserts, pastries, wedding, specialty cakes, donuts, muffins, and cake decorating.

Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience

Languages: Spanish is an asset and English is not required

Position starts at $22.00 working 40 hours/week
