Plate Roll Operator

Pay: $20/hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 6AM-4:30PM

Job Description:

Join our team as a plate roll operator, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping workpieces to precise specifications. Your responsibilities will include meticulously adjusting rolls between each pass to achieve the desired shape, utilizing templates to measure arcs with precision, and inputting essential workpiece data into our system for seamless production tracking. You'll securely position workpieces on our machinery, employing manual techniques or specialized equipment like hoists and cranes as needed. Identifying and promptly addressing any equipment or material issues will be crucial. Post-welding, you'll skillfully re-roll cylinders, meticulously checking their roundness and dimensions to uphold quality standards. Additionally, you'll operate various computer numeric controlled (CNC) machinery to meet production demands. Proficiency in forklift and crane operation, along with the ability to read blueprints and accurately interpret measurements using a tape measure, are vital for success in this role.
