Job Description

Responsibilities:

Write Java code that is efficient, well-documented, and adheres to coding standards and industry best practices.

Utilise the latest Java language features and the core Java concepts (concurrency, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming).

Take an active part in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), often collaborating with teams based in Chennai, from gathering requirements and designing to implementing, testing, and deploying.

Make use of build technologies like Maven or Gradle and dependency management.

Use Git or a different version control system.

Assist the Chennai team with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to participate in agile development methods.

Skills:

high level of expertise with Java and important Java frameworks, including the Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Security, Data).

familiarity in creating and using gRPC and/or RESTful APIs.

strong knowledge of ORM tools like Hibernate or Spring Data JPA, as well as relational and/or NoSQL databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB).
