Job Description

Responsibilities:

We manually execute test cases in compliance with test plans and requirements documentation to identify software defects and ensure functionality, usability, performance, and security in our Chennai projects.

Create and manage test data to make it easier to execute tests for a variety of scenarios and edge cases relevant to our Chennai applications.

To understand the behaviour of the product, establish requirements, and participate in meetings for test preparation and evaluation, collaborate closely with Chennai's developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Create comprehensive test reports for projects developed in Chennai that contain an assessment of the overall quality, a summary of the test execution outcomes, and the status of defects.

Stay up to date on the latest techniques, resources, and industry best practices for manual testing in Chennai.

Skills:

strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ideas, and testing procedures.

Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities combined with an acute attention to detail to efficiently spot flaws.

the capacity to write test cases and defect reports that are precise, succinct, and repeatable.

familiarity with bug-tracking software, such as Jira or Bugzilla.
