Job Description

Focus: Stress the fundamental abilities of database architecture, composing intricate queries, optimising performance, and managing data using SQL, particularly with relation to supporting applications and data projects in Chennai.

Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

 

What you’ll Do:

Based on business needs, design, create, and manage scalable and effective relational database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Examine and adjust current SQL queries and database objects to boost overall database efficiency, decrease execution time, and improve performance.

Make that all database systems have accurate, consistent, and high-quality data.

Carry out routine database maintenance, including integrity checks, backups, and restores.

If appropriate, support database migration initiatives to cloud platforms or more recent technology.

 

What you need:

Experience writing and optimizing complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, indexing, and data modeling.

Familiarity with performance tuning techniques for SQL queries and databases.

Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., SSIS for SQL Server environments).
