Job Description

Responsibilities

Create, implement, and manage SQL databases and schemas in Chennai that are specific to our applications and data requirements.

Work together with Chennai's application development teams to create effective database architectures and incorporate SQL into apps.

Help with database updates and migrations as needed by our IT infrastructure in Chennai.

Keep abreast of the newest database technology, SQL features, and industry best practices specific to India.

Make sure all databases have consistent and high-quality data.

Skills
familiarity with indexing, normalisation, and database design methods.

knowledge of at least one of the popular relational database management systems (RDBMS) in Chennai, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.

knowledge of optimisation and tuning strategies for database performance.

familiarity with data modelling software.
