Job Description

Focus: Emphasize the primary skills of accounts receivable follow-up, medical billing knowledge, and effective communication with insurance companies.

Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

What you’ll Do:

Contact insurance companies via phone to follow up on outstanding claims.

Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments.

Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and identify discrepancies.

Submit appeals and corrected claims as needed.

Document all communication and actions taken in the billing system.

What you need:

Strong understanding of medical billing terminology and procedures.

Knowledge of insurance claim processing and reimbursement.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to analyze and interpret EOBs.
