Job Description

Responsibilities

Crafting intricate SQL queries (developing for Oracle and Postgres) 

Familiarity with joins, unions, and JSONB data types 

Expertise with database objects, including views, materialised views, Stored Procedures, Functions, triggers, and sequences

Expertise in ETL Talend tool for database migration; 

Performance tuning and query analysis; 

Ability to manually rewrite Oracle functions and stored procedures into Postgres equivalents; 

Experience migrating databases from Oracle to Postgres as a SQL developer.

Understanding of the translation and compatibility of built-in Oracle to Postgres functions.

Skills:

Complex SQL query writing (Oracle and PostgresSQL)

Joins, unions, JSONB datatype knowledge

DB objects (views, materialized views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, sequences)

Oracle to Postgres DB migration experience

ETL Talend tool knowledge for DB migration

Query analysis and performance tuning

Manual Oracle to Postgres function/stored procedure rewriting

Oracle to Postgres function compatibility and conversion knowledge

Experience: 3 to 6 yrs

Qualification: Any Degree related to IT
