Responsibilities:

Considering performance optimisation for massive datasets common in Chennai's industries, create intricate and effective SQL queries to retrieve, alter, and analyse data for reporting, application development, and business intelligence objectives.

Assist with database migration and update initiatives, making sure that our Chennai-based systems have minimal downtime and data integrity.

Diagnose and fix database-related problems, such as connectivity issues, data corruption, and performance snags, and promptly deliver solutions to our Chennai teams.

Become knowledgeable on the most recent SQL features, database technologies, and industry best practices that are pertinent to Chennai's and the world's changing IT scene.

In our Chennai environment, help with the design and execution of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures for data warehousing and business intelligence projects.

Skills:

knowledge of optimisation and tuning strategies for database performance.

familiarity with database security best practices and principles.

familiarity with database recovery and backup techniques.

strong grasp of the fundamentals of data modelling.
