Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and schemas using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relevant RDBMS, tailored to our application needs in Chennai.

Write complex and efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views to support application logic and data retrieval requirements.

Optimize database performance by identifying bottlenecks, tuning queries, and implementing indexing strategies relevant to our Chennai-based systems.

Develop and implement data migration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between different systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Collaborate with application developers (potentially in Chennai) to design database structures that meet application requirements and performance goals.

Skills
Experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

Understanding of relational database design principles and normalization.

Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Familiarity with data migration and ETL concepts.
