Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Shop Helper to join our team in Broken Arrow. This position supports welders, fabricators, and machinists with daily shop operations and ensures materials are prepared accurately and efficiently. The Shop Helper role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, to prepare and finish metal components.
• Accurately measure materials using a tape measure to ensure precise cuts and assemblies.
• Safely operate overhead cranes to move heavy materials and equipment within the shop.
• Assist welders, fabricators, and machinists with daily tasks and projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
• Load and unload materials and products as directed.
• The Shop Helper must demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience operating a grinder, tape measure, and overhead crane is required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or shop drawings is a plus.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions from supervisors.
