Avionics Technician

Pay: $18–$24/hr
Location: North of Tulsa Area
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Avionics Technician to join our aerospace team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with foundational knowledge in avionics, electrical, or electronics engineering who are eager to grow their careers in aviation. The Avionics Technician will assist with avionics system installs, inspections, and repairs while gaining hands-on experience under senior-level guidance.

Required Experience & Skills

• Associate’s degree or certification in Avionics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, apprenticeships, or entry-level roles welcome)
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Familiarity with wiring and basic circuit analysis
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform tasks at heights
• Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, testing, and repair of avionics systems (navigation, communication, flight controls, etc.)
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and electronic components
• Inspect wiring, harnesses, and avionics hardware for compliance
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and inventory records
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks
• Participate in on-the-job training to build skillset
• Follow all safety protocols and quality assurance standards as an Avionics Technician

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or technical field
