Assembly Technician
Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (occasional overtime as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking two Assembly Technicians to join a growing team in Sand Springs. The Assembly Technician is responsible for ensuring all parts are properly assembled and prepared before moving to final testing. Candidates with tubing experience will be strongly considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and blueprints.
• Cut and thread piping with accuracy.
• Use a tape measure to within 1/16 of an inch.
• Assemble pipe fittings, valves, and switches.
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Complete tasks according to production schedules with minimal supervision.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months – 1 year of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
• Tubing experience preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Work is performed in a non-temperature-controlled fabrication shop (exposure to noise, dust, and metal particles).
• Must wear required PPE (hearing protection, safety glasses, OSHA-compliant footwear).
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
