Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $18.50–$19.50/hour DOE
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Material Handler with Shipping & Receiving experience to join a growing team at our climate-controlled facility in Tulsa. This position plays a key role in the handling of tight-tolerance sheet metal components and will be responsible for stock-keeping tasks, loading/unloading materials, and ensuring timely and accurate movement of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform stock-keeping functions for incoming goods, packaging, and inventory control
• Monitor picking ticket queue to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Unpack and verify the receipt and condition of customer-returned goods
• Support daily production and operational processes
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Unpack and verify incoming goods by quantity and item identification
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable forklift operation experience
• Familiarity with warehouse and inventory systems; proven warehouse work experience
• Ability to perform basic math and use computers effectively
• Self-sufficient with strong teamwork skills
• Must be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
This is a safety-sensitive position that may involve:

• Handling, transporting, or disposing of hazardous materials
• Operating motor vehicles, forklifts, or other heavy equipment
• Monitoring machinery whose malfunction could pose safety risks
• Working in areas that may involve flammable or combustible materials

The role requires:

• Standing, bending, squatting, and climbing for the majority of the work shift
• Repetitive lifting of materials up to 50 lbs (lifting devices or team assistance provided as needed)
• Navigating tight or confined spaces in and around machines
